The Tollemache Arms, in the small, picturesque village of Buckminster is a 19th century building sympathetically refurbished (and now run) by two young couples at the beginning of 2010.
It has the features of a traditional pub - a big oak bar serving local ales and an open fire as well as a library leading off the dining room where you can enjoy a peaceful aperitif, read the paper or retire for coffee. There is a beer-garden at the back of the pub ideal for al-fresco dining during the warmer months and offering a place for children to play without the worry of traffic.
